Wind Power
Wind power, hot air or real benefits?
Wind power is a regenerating source of energy, created by the force of the wind. At the end of 2006, the global capacity of wind generators was 73904 MW, and they have produced a little more than 1% from the global necessary of electric energy.
Even if it is a relatively minor source of electric energy for most of the countries, wind energy production increased practically 5 times between 1999 and 2006, and in some countries, the share of wind energy in the total energy consumption is significant: Denmark (23%), Spain (8%), and Germany (6%).
